"Understanding daily climate at northern latitudes"

Dr. Alan K. Betts

The release of 60 years of climate data from the Canadian Prairies has transformed our understanding of climate at northern latitudes that have snow in winter. I will go through the seasons and explain how the sun and the different facets of the water cycle, clouds and precipitation, drive the daily cycle of temperature and humidity. And give you a glimpse into the changing climate of the future.
