Climate Change:a Question of Attitude

Talk Given At:
Rutland High School
Date of Talk:
March 19th, 2014

This is part of a daylong Global Issues Network conference at the Rutland High School on March 19, 2014.

  • Part 1: (10:10 --10:55)

    Part 2: (1:20--1:55)

The morning session will explain how and why the climate of the Earth and New England are being transformed. Our winters are shrinking (while becoming more variable), and this has benefited the expansion of 'local food'. However, severe weather and flooding are generally increasing.

The afternoon session will address the huge transition we face as a society: how to deal with climate change, and addresses some 'attitudes' that are useful.
